Piano Lessons

(60 minutes- final 5 with adult present)

This is the culmination of the Musikgarten experience in which children apply their musicianship skills to the piano. For continuing students, the songs they have internalized will express themselves on the keyboard with joy and pride. New students join in on the group experience and are proud in applying songs they learn to an instrument. Group lessons include games, singing, movement, ensemble playing, and piano application of all skills. Kids truly prefer making music with others to individual lessons and being with others greatly improves their skills in rhythmic competency, listening, and music-reading; all necessary in becoming a literate, competent musician.

34 week school year paid in monthly installments or four equal payments (bi-monthly). Student is registered from Sept-June. Class sizes are kept small.

KB I and II Tuition: $748 for a 34 week school year

KB I and II Materials: $110 for school year - - - - YEAR TOTAL IS $858

(2 pedagogy books, KB II:writing book/sheets, 14 card sets, 4 listening & practice cds, card carrier and parent guide, KB I: a book bag)

**Requirements: Keyboard or piano at home by start of first class, cd player near piano

$50 Sibling tuition discount toward any class.
